It's About Israel
Does Isaiah 30:25 speak of the twin towers and 9-11? Are you ready for the rapture?
“And on every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” (NASB)

Scripture makes frequent reference to the presence of abundant waters in Israel at the time of God’s blessing and refreshment (ex. Zechariah 14:8; see also Isaiah 35:6, 7).   Israel has always been a hot arid land that was dependent on “the early and later rains.” The idea of abundant running water has long been anticipated as another aspect of Christ’s presence with Israel.

Notice too, that the “towers” fall at a time of judgment on the Nations (Isaiah 30:26-33). Since the Towers do not seem to be a reference to any object in Israel that I am aware of, and since Towers falling represent judgment rather than blessing, and since the context speaks of judgment on the Nations at a time when Israel is blessed; the Towers spoken of must be unknown objects set among the Nations, and which are symbolic of a great world power at a time when God stands up to Judge the Nations.  When I say they “must be unknown”, I mean they are not in any other way identified in the Scriptures.

Looking back at what has transpired since the Trade Center buildings fell; can we not see the weakening of a "great world power”?  That day this world became a different place. No longer was the U.S. impervious to enemy attack. That day the unthinkable happened, and it seems that “all the kings’ horses and all the Kings’ men could not put Humpty Dumpty together again.” Now we fight wars against an unseen foe, and the world is a more unstable place. The U.S. has not yet recovered financially, and our resources are scattered as we have been embroiled in war ever since. The U.S. seems weaker, its economy is threatened, Asian powers are emerging, and there is chaos in the Middle East. This shift has taken place at a time when hostility against God and His Word is increasing.

It seems the fall of the “Towers” marks a time when America began a decline, the Nations of the world have fallen into confusion, and there is an increasing intolerance of Christ and His Word; just as Isaiah suggests, It also comes at a time when Israel is “budding” on the mountains of its restored land (Matthew 24:32).

In other words the fall of the “Twin Towers” just might be a sign that God is ready to Judge the Nations (Book of Revelation especially chpt.19) and establish His Kingdom with Israel at the head of all the Nations of the Earth! Recent "signs" would seem to indicate this is so.

Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah He removed the righteous (Genesis 19), and before God judges the World He will remove the Christian. Christ has promised to return and retrieve those who have put their hope and trust in Him. He said, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am there you may be also" (John 14:3). After His crucifiction and resurrection He said good-bye to His desciples and they watched as He disappeared into Heaven; An angel standing by said this, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11). Finally, Paul speaks of this when he says, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therfore comfort one another with these words" (1Thessalonians 4:16-18).

This is the teaching of the "rapture of the Church". The word "rapture" is the from the greek word that is translated  "caught up" in our Bible.  In other words, if you're a christian, start looking up! He's coming for his bride, the Church (you and me)! The signs of His judgment seem close. So His coming for you and me is even closer! He could come at anytime! I would not be surprised if it were this very month! What a thrill ride that will be! If you are not a Christian, there is no time to waste, receive the Lord! So, we should "comfort one another with these words."
